What are the best and worst things about being in the Sydney?
Best: Beaches and sunshine.
Worst: OMG the cost of living and traffic.
What are you most proud of in your business?
We’re pioneering a new industry that is at once crazy (flying robots delivering stuff) and strangely intuitive at the same time (well why the hell not? fly over traffic and have things delivered to you anytime, anywhere!).
What one thing can you do better than anyone else?
Get to the root cause of problems very quickly.
If the entire world was able to be connected, what do you think the impact would be and what would mean for business?
New markets, quicker and less friction in getting the right ideas and expertise to where it is needed. A lot fewer mistakes but potentially a lot more noise. For business? Opportunities.
What viewpoint do you have on your business that hasn’t changed since the start?
We’re crazy for trying, but damn its going to be fun!
Will Twitter ever be worth more than Facebook?
Yes, No, Maybe?
Do you want to own a self-driving car?
Hell yes! But only on the proviso that it’ll still be 100% legal to drive the old fashioned way and there are dedicated super fast lanes for self driving cars.
Who is your hero?
Don’t have one. Be your own hero and live up to it via what and how you do what you do.
What valuable company is nobody building?
One where the business model is ‘Free Beer’ and it makes money.
Tell me a book recommendation.
